How i got started in this crazy industry

The boring version is that I'm Jason Broussard, and I earned my AA in Graphic Design from Westwood College in 2002. That same year started working for Take 1 Productions as a graphic designer and a Final Cut Pro Editor. In the field I quickly went from rolling cable to running camera, which added another dimension to my capabilities. Take 1 Productions then merged with Peppers.TV in 2006. I was heavy into FCP, shooting on a regular basis and rapidly honing my skills in Motion Graphics with After Effects. I became Senior Editor and in-house videographer for www.peppers.tv.

The part you really want to know is the Jason Broussard creative story. I am a Final Cut Pro Editor and fluent in the complete Adobe Master Collection. I love picking up a camera and getting lost in the lens. I thrive on working from start to finish on a project, so that every project becomes my signature piece.

From initial brain storming and script writing to lighting and shooting...to the grind of rough cut editing to the beauty of motion graphics...to finally popping some popcorn and rallying the troops for a viewing.
